MPISCC’s  May 17, 2016 networking and educational program featured a lively interaction that was all about connecting planners and suppliers around the topic of SMM: Strategic Meeting Management. Louann Cashill, CMP, CMM utilized a live Twitter Q&A feed as she presented best practices that allow everyone involved to work together on a strategic level to make a successful meeting. The topics she covered included

The five most important actions our members might take this year in developing or supporting SMM;

How planners and suppliers can work together to achieve common strategic goals; and

In a pre-program workshop, MPISCC’s own Amani Roberts discussed social media strategies for planners and suppliers, covering options including Pocket, Reddit, Twitter and Facebook.
